in washington, d.c., 70s in atlanta and dallas. here comes the bitter cold air behind the front. we're looking at 19 for a high in billings, montana. now as we head towards sunday here comes the cold front bringing that chance for some strong thunderstorms. can't rule out the possibility of tornadoes. but for the most part it will be damaging winds, possibly some large hail and frequent lightning in dallas, tulsa, little rock towards kansas city and st. louis and knocking on chicago's door. we've got some football being played sunday night in chicago, hopefully we'll get through all four quarters without any rain. but it's not going to be likely. it looks like that cold front will be moving in for that. 64 degrees for a high in chicago, 60 degrees in new york city. mild weather. that's what we need in the northeast especially where we still have power outages. here comes the front marching toward the east for the ohio valley, anywhere from cleveland down towards new orleans. we'll have that chance for more thunderstorms out ahead of it the mild weather. behind it you'll notice the big cooldown
